Does anyone know a good enough graphics card that isn't too expensive and is good enough to play a full 100 player altis life on atleast standard settings with about 50+ FPS?
Aye, can agree on getting my moneys worth from my 780s. Did feel a bit betrayed when nvidia released the 780 ti's not long afterwards.GTX 780 i use.... but go for the 980 if you can afford it...
If your spending money you might as well pay the extra, I have had my 780 from release and can assure you i have got my moneys worth out of it x2

That won't happen this time I'm reliably informed as the 980 is a full chip unlike the 780 was, however the 970s and 980s are having issues at the moment in some games (including Arma 3) where the utilization is down to stupidly low numbers. My pair of 980 Asus Strix cards are running at such low utilization (25% or less) that they drop back down into passive mode.
This rumor has been going around since September and it hasn't been reported on by any serious tech blog. I have no doubt that there will be a new Titan card, but I don't see a 980 Ti being released this week or next even remotely plausible, especially considering the 780 Ti brought massive bad blood to nvidia last time and that was 4 months after the 780s launch. The 980s launched only 2 months ago if that.Acutally dude thats incorrect, the 980Ti is due for release this week or next week. And it is supposedly ~50% more powerful than the standard 980.
"A person identified as Jon Sutton of Game-Debate reported some interesting specs about GTX 980 Ti, and one of the noteworthy things he has mentioned is that it would be 50% faster than the fastest available GPU in the market today.
Sutton commented, "That's some serious power under the hood, but where does it all come from? Firstly, the GM200 GPU will be on a 551mm2 die, with an estimated 20-22 Streaming Multiprocessors Maxwell (SMM) giving a total of between 2560 and 2816 CUDA cores. This will all be on a 384-bit memory bus, up from the 256-bit bus seen on the GeForce GTX 980 and the GeForce GTX 970.""

The only legit press I've seen on the GM200 is that it's more than 2 quarters out from now and will be a workstation card firstly and then possibly a Titan 2 (this is how the Titan came to pass the first time). Only then would there be a space for a 980 Ti, but time will tell.
I'll be sure to check back into this thread in 2 weeks if there is a 980 Ti available and I'll ask you for your paypal details to buy you a beer if I'm wrong
