Good screen captures

Ive been trying to find a good screen recorder for my pc gaming and ive came across shadow play but that doesnt record your voice, OBS is good but when I re-watch my gameplay it seems to be lagging so much. Fraps just decreases your fps by a lot so im kind of stuck here to find a decent game capture.

Plays.tv is like shadow play but it records your mic and even your webcam.

Also you can automaticly upload it to youtube or the Plays.tv website, so its very quick to get footage for playback.

If you want help setting it up, shoot me a PM.

Shadow play records your voice if you have mic & audio selected.

When using OBS google how to configure it properly and have a mess around with it in Arma to see what bit rate and other settings suit your PC. It's for more advanced users than shadow play.

The only two I would suggest are OBS and shadow play.

I would recommend Dxtory, or if you have a Nvidea GPU you can use shadowplay.
Shadowplay can record your voice, I use it all the time, just play around with the settings.

I set shadowplay to record voice on PTT for Caps Lock. That way it records when i talk to people in game, rather than recording me eating crisps and mini rolls.

That's such a good idea, So I'm guessing because I use mouse5 for chat in arma I just set voice PTT to mouse5 on shadowplay to do this?

I'm not sure, i think it needs a KB key, but you can always try it - you just set it in Geforce Experience under Shadowplay Settings.

+1 For Shadow-Play; If you're purely recording for the sake of evidence (In the unforeseen event of total atomic annihilation..)  Then there isn't much better.

It only saves what you deliberately choose to keep, It's very preformance-friendly, reputable manufacturer, and completely free... If you have a Nvidia GPU, there's no reason not to really... Full-Res, Mic and In-game audio (Even Skype!!) and the ability to discard any footage you decide isn't worth the disk-space.

Makes me very satisfied knowing i'm always being watched ;)

I tend to leave it recording all Voice inputs, but you can bind mouse-key's with it (Razer Death-adder Confirmed)  :Z
