What are the rules regarding walking on your hands? The training is there to teach somebody how to stand on 2 feet, they learn to walk by themselves.
The ifrit you can't really compete with, it's by no means a requirement to hunt, in fact I'd be persuaded to leave the ifrit at home if I was off to go hunting however with the weapon, just role play it out. Explain to the person it's an illegal firearm, when he produces a license tell him you're going to check the validity, check for previous convictions, ask him what kind of ammo he's using, check the rifles serial number against police records, etc. It's very easy to get things done quickly as a cop and I'm guilty of doing it myself, trying to rush through the engagement to get the suspect in prison or with a ticket, however by taking your time and explaining it, letting the person know exactly what's going on, combat the situation and deal with it correctly. Police should not and cannot win every time, and when they lose, let it be and find someone else. It's a giant came of out-role playing the baddy.I'm learning the ropes as a copper BUT no matter how strong RP is, that is still illegal gear to be roaming around with!
From my limited understanding I would have said the gun and car were illegal AND you were wanted. Maybe that hunting equipment is acceptable in places like Takistan or Chernaurus but in Athira it's illegal, matey!
... And I'm a generally a bloody nice bloke! You just can't have people roaming around with massive guns... Or we'll have another Kavala school incident. And we don't want that.
Oh yes. It's even worse when you get a bunch of VDM'ers and RDM'ers trolling Kavala on a late night. Rebels seem to become attracted to a mass RDM, just to watch or to assist the police, but it gets very chaotic. Got some great screenshots of Kavala in it's busiest times. After one night of rolling with the coppers after nearly 7 months of Civ / Rebel RP on the server, I can say... Fucking hell, it's hard as a Cop. Athira last night was like watching bees round a honey pot.
Only these bees had a mixture of hilarious stories to tell, trolling and absolute bullshit. Oh and two hackers and a few RDM'ers. All within about an hour.
I can already tell I will be one of those jaded, sarcastic cops.
Fuck Da PoPo"Sir, please run in circles around me yelling "FUCK DA POPO".
I think you may be forgetting that I'm also a cop. Ultimately, if you're dealing a potentially dangerous person with an illegal firearm and a possible illegal firearm, I'd be just as concerned as I am with that person than 3 ifrits in Athira or elsewhere. Once you put on those sirens you are committing yourself to dealing with that person, even more so when he's carrying that equipment.Yes, emigrates, but sometimes you simply don't have the time for all that. Imagine this happening, and at the same time you get whispers from three people, about Ifrits, armed men and a hostage situation about 100m away. Every encounter cannot be the best or funniest one. Sometimes things go like this.
And since people ALWAYS say "the cops dont roleplay", thereby generalising the hell out of us, Im gonna say that rebels don't roleplay. A few examples the last few days:
"Sir, I pulled you over for speedi...."
"GET ON THE GROUND OR DIE".... Bang.
"Sir, please don't run in circles around me yelling "FUCK DA POPO".
"FUCKDAPOPOFUCKDAPOPOFUCKDAPOPO".
"Sir, the reason you are restrained..."
"YOU CANT DO THIS IM RECORDING YOU CUNT YOURE GONNA GET BANNED".
So by all means, do not only blame the cops. I love when real, awesome roleplay happens, but I also accept that sometimes it doesnt. We are all human, afterall.
I would have found a way. Wished you just stepped into my ifrit to see it from the inside.A chance to kidnap me? I had my sidekick with me, full faith that i was safe.
besides cant kidnap a PCSO.
Yes you did say so, only high ranking officers do this. Never saw a SGT or lower who let me go with an Ifrit and an illegal weapon.Did I not say to you puppy that if you role-play hard enough you will not have you Ifrit scrapped......
Last encounter with a cop didn't ended that well
I'd have arrested you for wasting police time!
