Getting Comp rejected for a pilot Disconecting

Hello people , just a quick thing as i just got my comp declined for a reason i just do not understand why , here is the reply i got - http://prntscr.com/8ws8el , here is the post - http://www.altislife.co.uk/topic/39585-comp-request-pilot-got-too-high-ping-and-i-died/   .

I don't mean this post to come across in the wrong way , but i really do not understand why if a pilot gets high ping , everyone in the chopper should loose everything and not be entitled compensation. I have spoken to the comp admins but apparently its nothing they can do , so i come here for some one to be able to explain to me. It just confused me as i had no control of survive or dying in that situation and it gets put down to not be able to receive comp. It is pretty clear that peoples connection clearly is not great and people do get kicked for ping. This means people will die for having there pilot / driving loosing control. I just don't see how this should affect the passengers in the sense of money and time. This is because you already have to go do the long journey of having to re gear and then after than , go make that £650k back again. Disconnecting  does happen all the time and i just see it as going to cause lots of problems. So please help by explaining the reason , so its clear that its my fault and there no point of having to record and upload again.

Just to make it clear , this is not me having a go , its just me needing an explanation and some sort of fix to help people who get in situations like this, doesn't just benefit me , it should benefit more people who get this problem. Dont want any one getting annoyed or by this post and to cause any problems in any way.

Thanks, Hoggie

Because you should trust the person who is flying you and trust that his/her internet is good enough to keep on the game, that falls into a client issue.

This saves ALOT of time for the admins to not have to deal with these issues as 3/4 of compensation requests will be bugs or clientside issues.

For example, I play with a friend who has extremely bad internet, so I just don't let him drive or fly, you acknowledge first, then consider whether you should let them risk your life.

I still do think that's a good enough reason to say , sorry for all the time you spent making that money , i guess its just bad luck really. Its not like its the first time it has happened to be fair. I just feel its stupid how you loose all that time and money due to the fact someone has bad connection. This could be because they are quite poor and cant afford good connection. I just feel its not the passengers fault if they die due to it , so compensation should be entitled.

so compensation should be entitled.
Well, that's why you get someone with a stable connection to fly sadly, although I think this rule should be changed over time to be less scrutinisingly painful when you get denied

The word 'compensation request' says it all. The staff compensates you for their faults (server errors). If you pilot disconnects, it's not the fault of the server. It's the fault of the pilot. He needs to compensate you, not the staff of the server, since they did made no faults.

Why didn't we say "Sorry for all the time you spent?"

Because you are not the first one, and you won't be the only one, we treat everyone equal. As Toby said you need to trust the pilot, if he connection issues why didn't you switch the pilot?

We are more than welcome to compensate you for anything under the compensation rules you should had read, but apparently you didn't.

I think you are one of the first people to actually create a post about a refused comp request.

The rules for a compensation request are more than fair imo.

Your pilot needs to compensate you. It's the same as if he was to crash into the ground

Thanks for the reply , you could just see it in my opinion that you are having some good RP with some Random guy , and he ends up giving you a lift to somewhere and he Disconnects and we die , and you loose out on the X amount of money you have worked hard for. It just confused me how you could loose out on the X money when in RP terms , if the pilot passed out , you have no control if you live or die. The reason i put this post up wasn't for the fact i lost 650k , to be honest i can make that back in 1 drug run , but its to kind of see the reason why it has been put like this , but now i do understand.

I just felt with the comment i had got i just wanted to understand it in more detail. Sadly i don't know the hobo so i wouldn't get my money back, but the part that annoyed me really was the Chopper glitching out after it crashed which lead me to stay dead for 2 hours before restart occured , so i was annoyed that the problems had occurred, and then disappointed how its still kind of my fault for role playing with someone new ( unknowing they have crap internet).

In the end money is money but now i know there is no point uploading anything like this for comp as it just would not be accepted ( saves me time from editing and uploading etc).
