FPS Spikes.

So lately I have had bad FPS drops when driving and in random situations.

My specs are:

i5 4460

8gb ram

750ti

WD 1tb

Does anyone know a fix?

no I haven't got an ssd. I was thinking of getting one but won't I need to reinstall windows on to it?

I had the same problem, rolling on 60fps then suddenly 1fps for 2-5sec, then back to normal, moved atma 3 to my ssd and havent had the problem since, and ofc u should put your operating system on the ssd, or you wouldnt get dat fast bootup time  but its not a must if u just want to run games from it

just install the game on it, not windows.. although windows is FANTASTIC on an SSD. 

The more things running from 1 HDD, the slower the read/write for each app... remember, it has to physically goto each part of the HDD

1 more question sorry :/ if I move arma to my ssd will I lose all my data from altislife.co.uk and king of the hill?

Data is server-sided, it recognises you by the UID which is linked to steam account so as long you have your steam acc, you won't loose anything.

If you copy your profile data to the new place where king of the hill is installed, then it should be fine!
