As the owner of the fishing store I took it upon myself to go around the island experimenting with all the new fish introduced to figure out how it all works.
I found out that as bait is no longer used the new way you catch turtles is by using either seabass, salmon or trout meat on your fishing rod for an (increased chance).
I don't know the core value set in code for this chance but i spent 4 hours using these baits and did not catch a single turtle which is why i think its broken.
In total i used these increased chance baits around 3000 times with no success.
And i hope to god that the turtle catch chance is not more than 3000/1 as that would be ridiculous!
Could this be looked into please as currently with turtles being physically impossible to obtain it is then restricting fishermen the access to sharks as turtles are used to catch them.
