I was banned from the server for combat logging and what I believe was being hinted at as RDM. (the ban was on the 17/12/14 and the events that took place the day before that). The "RDM" was because me and my friend were going to have a look at the UNMC checkpoint, we got to the top of the hill and I noticed a guy shooting at the UNMC and they were shooting back at him narrowly missing us. Long story short we were getting into position to rob him and he turned around so we panicked and i shot him but he said I took his gun but it wasn't me it was my friend. So yeah he was in a fire fight and we thought we would RP it out and rob him but he turned around and aimed at my friend before we had a chance to rob him so we shot him which may seem unfair but he did turn at us and who wouldn't have panicked at that point.

The next thing is the disconnect after a death. I agree I shouldn't have done it, but who wouldn't rage after they died in the circumstances that I did. There was a road block that no one was on and loads of loot so me and some guy I had just met started to pick up the pick axes and stuff like that and some guy pulled up and my friend drove away and the guy that had just pulled up started to tell my friend to get out of the car. So i ran up behind him and shot him 3 times with a rook but he didn't die. then he ran around behind me and rekt me haha so yeah I was pretty mad. 

I realise I probably wont get un-banned because of these offences but how long is the ban usually considering it wasn't random death match because the guy was in a fire fight with the UNMC. 

I have played the server more than any other and I really enjoy so I hope that the bans aren't permanent and is there anything I can do to shorten the length of the ban.

If my ban is permanent I would just like to say thank you to all of the people on the server who have filled my lonely nights with fun. And well done to the server owner and the admins for their great success with this server. It has been the best 4 weeks of my Arma 3 adventures.

Who wouldn't rage ?

Anyone who plays on this server as combat logging is clear in the rules.

Some people have 1000-2000 hours on this server, Why should we unban you whats to stop you breaking our very clear rules again .... and yes all bans are perm until successfully appealed.

I wont break the rules again because now I have experienced being banned and now I have realised how good the server is and much I have missed playing it the past 3 days. I understand that the rules are very clear, I don't know why I did it, it was just a spur of the moment and I didn't realise that I would of effected the game-play until after I had done it. I am sorry and would like to appoligise to the person I killed and to the person that I combat logged for, also to the admins as you guys have had to sit and deal with things like this.
