Hello, Smokey T here.

I am quite new to the server and the mod, have been enjoying the majority of my time. Its been bad times and good times as with any game really. But [EUL] Appleby is purposely going out of his way to make my time harder. About 2 weeks ago he failed to RP and robbed me of everything I had, there were maybe 5 other people in 10 minutes with similar complaints. All he had to say on side chat was 'stop crying' and calling people petty names, i've seen this occur on several occasions after this. After seeing it enough I said to Appleby that 'stop crying' is something my 10 year old nephew says to his mates on CoD after calling them petty names for 'making his team lose'. Play to win is a bad mentality to have in a RP game, but when you mix it with an immature mindset it causes people grief. Ever since this comment, if he sees me in game he will follow me, chase my truck, shout abuse, steal everything I have on me and then finally kill me. This has happened on several occasions and actually led to me thinking about quitting this community. I made a post on the forums and I was shown that there are more nice people than bad ones. However by server rules I have died by his hands many times. YET HE STILL ALWAYS KNOWS WHO I AM. AND HE WILL ALWAYS DO EVERYTHING HE CAN TO STOP ME FROM ENJOYING MYSELF. Literally he is following my name tag which goes against rules right? 

Before I decided to write this, [EUL] Appleby was trying to wind me up in side chat from the moment he logged on and I had done nothing to provoke him. He then found me in my truck just outside Kavala and he followed me all the way past Agios and even beyond that, trying to run me off the road and breaking in front of me. I turned round hoping he would get bored but instead he turned round and followed me all the way back to the Kavala peach field. He ran me off the road shot my tire then shot me dead. I did then spawn in Kavala where he and his friend came sprinting from the peach field to find me and start spamming that I was breaking NLR but I honestly thought I was more than 1K away and never went back to the scene. But they purposely came to find me after killing me less that 3 minutes ago. Its not fair for any player to get bullied like this, I don't really think i'm the only one who gets it off Appleby either. If I was breaking NLR then I truly didn't realise (new player mistake) but it was just another excuse for him to give me grief. Please help me out. I really wanna enjoy this. I can't even mute him off side chat so i'm forced to see all his crap :/

If nothing else helps, you can just make a new profile under a new name so he won't recognize you anymore. I admit it is a shame that you have to go out of your way to avoid being bullied by some teenager. Remember that you still actually keep your character and all your belonging - just your name is changed.

 
Hello this is in fact Appleby here, I rob alot of people on altislife.co.uk almost every truck I come across that has come from Big towns and other areas and I can say I'm not going out of my way, I am a VERY active player on this server almost all day call me sad if you think so but thats your opinion, but yes a few days ago I did rob Smokey T and he did get upset about it and so last night when I seen him I said hey and asked if he was still upset, I admit to trying to wind him up but in no way am I going out of way trying to rob him. That is ridiculous to say id only go for him when I have better things on the server to be doing myself. If you want I will stop robbing you completely but you will have to tell me its you. But if your getting upset over me robbing you twice its kinda not fun. another thing you cannot excuse me of not rp'ing, The two times I did rob you it was from me pulling infront of your truck and telling you to stop or ill shoot, And inwhich both times you ignored and broke NLR one time, I even warned you in side chat and you said I was wrong when I clearly was not you are just lucky I was not recording.

Seeing as the post was about me id just thought id have a say and try and sort something out.

I am not bullying Smokey T, I have robbed him twice, I have been robbed by the same player tons of times and not said a word about bullying so don't excuse someone of bullying if you don't know both sides of the story.

 
Yeah sorry for taking sides as I should remain neutral in this. I just wanted to suggest the name change in case he sees it as a solution.

 
The 1st time you robbed me that started this whole tiff... Was you and your friend robbing me for walking to fast... You took my money and I died for that lame bit of RP. Yes I will 'accuse' you of that. Sadly my Comp is not strong enough to record me playing so there is nothing I can do. You have attempted to rob more than twice. If you can stop writing childish shit in side chat then I have no problem with you. But it truly did feel you were going out of your way... Better things to do? You chased me a VERY long way. I could see you weren't giving up for anything. I'm quite sure you knew it was me. You had stuff to say to me THE SECOND you got on the server, stuff to wind me up. I hadn't done anything to provoke it. I'm a nice guy and usually very easy to get along with but for me this has been a very frustrating ordeal. If i've died 8 times at least 4 of them were you. Like you said 'Thought you were quitting cos my group were stomping you too hard'. Stomping me at what? I didn't realise there was a winner or a competition?

I was messing about the walking thing which turned into a robbery so dont start over that, And second what have I said in side chat that is childish besides asked you if you were upset.

 
'Stop crying' springs to mind. Seen you say that to a few folks, seen a bit of petty name calling too. Be a bastard as your character sure, well within your rights. But how about softening the blow by being nice OOC. Then you probably don't end up going through this with anyone else. If they are upset how about trying to diffuse the situation instead of trying to make it explode. I'm done with this thread now. Hope we can find a way to make peace. I'm pretty new to this community and don't want to be making enemies out of anyone.
