Before i explain my manifesto, let me first address my competitors for the position of Mayor and explain a little about myself.
You are all the cancer that has infested our beloved island. You career politicians with your alterer motives, hidden agendas, criminal affiliations and your bogus war on drugs. I will weed you out of your positions of power and influence and initiate "Demos-Kratos" Power to the people.
Since returning to the island i have attempted to contribute to the local economy through commerce, working in the processing of Altis's natural resources such as Oil, copper, steel, local fresh produce and precious stones but all of my efforts have been beset by the constant and aggressive interference from Altis's indigenous and deeply entrenched criminal element. Some pose as rebels, some as bounty hunters but all are driven by their own self interest and selfish motivation. They put their personal wealth before all other things. By doing so they are crippling the economy, widening the gap between the rich elite and the working man, propping up wealthy oligarchs who take in turns ruling from their safe millionaires playground of Kavala, with their helicopters and expensive elitist go-karts while the rest of the country burns in the wake of pseudo rebels who are really just lining their own pockets. The police ignore the pleas of the people and enforce a bogus war on drugs while terrorists and murderers freely roam the island. The reason for this you might ask? so only the select few can control the flow of drugs and guns in to the cities and like the Mafia did during prohibition in America, consolidate their power and position as ultimate rulers of our once free island.
So let me address the elephants in the room:
Murder, most horrid, perpetuated by the authorities refusal to allow private citizens arm themselves. The police confiscate weapons from Citizens but allow rebels and bandits to act with impunity, and even carry their rifles openly in the Capital city Kavala! How are legitimate traders supposed to defend themselves against heavily armed gangs of militarised rebels ?
We are at War! Have no illusions, the balance of power on this island is teetering on the brink of destruction. Rebels freely roam around the island and the Altis Government only truly occupies Kavala.
The war on drugs is causing the death of innocent civilians, not through drugs but through the polices neglect of their duties and responsibilities.
Every mayor so far has only been concerned with superficially dealing with the deep problems that this island faces
Manifesto:
1, I will decriminalise all drugs on the island. Why? i hear you ask? Simply for this reason. Every day dozens of innocent civilians are being murdered for just doing their legal jobs. Without the protection of the police they are helpless to defend themselves but as the police are so busy paroling the drugs fields for non violent crimes, the rest of the island is being neglected. Without the illegal drugs trade to occupy their time, the police force can be re tasked to combat the growing influence of rebels in the area. Drugs will still be illegal to poses and can be confiscated if found by the police, but it will no longer be any criminal charges brought against the offenders.
2. I will retake the great cities of Altis and drive the rebels and bandits back behind their boarders. For too long have our cities been infested by an entrenched criminal element. Agios, Zaros, Athira,Pyros, we will take them all back and by doing so our great country will prosper again.
3. I will protect the life blood of this island and ensure the safety of our industries! I will scheduled convoy protection for truckers and security check points at vital locations to ensure the safety of our hard working citizens.
4. I will commission a militarised force with the capabilities to combat the better equipped rebels and fight them on their own terms. We will create a militia of non rebel citizens to actively search out and destroy rebel strongholds and take back our island from the criminal elements
5. Martial law. There will be special powers to initiate a state of martial law during periods of duress for the island. During Martial law, anyone not within a government controlled city will be considered to be a rebel or a rebel sympathiser and will be eliminated with extreme prejudice. (Martial law can only be initiated for a period of 1 hour during each 4 hour period and is non reversible and can only be initiated by a majority vote between the Mayor, The senior policeman on duty and the senior Medic online)
6. Prison sentences will be extended for serious crimes and mass murderers will receive a life sentence without parole (to encourage more prison break attempts)
The road is long and will be difficult. No doubt there will be casualties along the way, but for significant change blood must be spilt and at least we will spill it for a righteous cause instead of standing by and allowing the blood of the innocent being spilt through our apathy.
I seek this office, not for personal gain, but for the future of our island and our children's future.
