DJ Booth - Queue/Playlists

Brief Summary:

Allow queuing songs and/or adding playlists on the DJ booths.

Detailed Suggestion:

It would be cool if the DJ booths allowed queuing songs and/or playing playlists rather than having to play each song separately.

The Pros:

It would save time from going to the dj booth to play another song every time they end.

The Cons:

None

Good idea!

I worked on something for my tablet that somewhat interacted with the DJ booth in game, loading songs up. It also managed the special effects you can do. 

It was on my todo list to actually create playlists that played through when the previous song ended as per your suggestion; although sometimes some things can cause the timings to be a bit off so might not have worked too well as an external app. Was just a bit of fun. It doesn't work anymore as I can't open it with Archies Eye currently.

This would be great holding events and waiting for the end of the song to play the next one can actually get in the way of rp depending on how well the dj booth works.

I think the jukeboxes allow youtube playlists to be played, would be nice to be able to shuffle the songs as they can get very repetative!

Correct, it only plays the first video from actual playlists.

Currently requesting a song on the DJ booth just stops the current song and plays the requested one. I think it that it should instead have a queue so when a song is requested it is added to the bottom of the queue. This would allow people to queue up songs to last for a long time and lets everyone have a chance to play their songs rather than having to cut someone's off to play your own. With this there should also be a button to skip the current track and maybe a button to clear the entire queue (Limited by permissions same way DJ booth remote control is)

+1 from me, This would help DJs at events put a queue of songs into the booth and would enable them to move away from the booth. It would even help diners and businesses keep music playing for longer. Great idea!
