Good evening my dear ALUK community,
As you may remember it was noted in my previous farewell thread that I would leave for America soon, in the thread I made mention of leaving in September, but as I wrote in my arrival post I had undergone appendix surgery and had to recover. The time has finally come where I am able to move around freely and explore my second homeland and that I shall. I am flying to Seattle on the 16th of October, and will stay in America until the 28th, taking various methods of transportation throughout the the United States all the way down from Seattle to Houston and back again. I will purchase a moderately powered computer in order to continue visiting the forums and occasionally come on teamspeak but to actually attempt running the game would be futile.
In case I do not return for various reasons or get apprehended by fate (again) I would just like to thank everyone in this community for all your "great banter". This assemblage have shown me the faces of various cultures around the world, many whom have surprised me and kept me entertained for many hours. Remember that what we create here are not for only ourselves, but for everyone else in the community that we call home too. I wish good luck to the administration team and all of my friends here, may you continue smiting hobos together until I return.
For the leadership of the Merchant Union I will pass it to Mr. Dutch, some people may have noticed that our John Pickle has dissapeared somewhat, and until he returns I cannot pass leadership unto him, as he is simply not there to receive it. I trust in Dutch's ability to accept new members and for that I am requesting the help of another member by the name of Steven Kentin, a somewhat funny Canadian.

My time with you has been more than pleasant
But unlike Wilco I cannot be omnipresent
So with these few words I bid all of you farewell
For those late hours at night I can no longer with you dwell
Many of you I will miss but there are too many to name
But when I return I hope that we can be friends all the same
The clock is ticking and now I really must go
So don't forget me, and please don't act like a hobo
