I think it would streamline the process and be fun if dealerships were able to display price lists.
Be that a board / TV display that they can edit of their top 10 vehicles in sort of a managers specials / recommendations way or their whole inventory.
Unlike the bike dealership it's practically impossible for a car dealership to stock the majority of vehicles, let alone all.
If a vehicle isn't available when someone visits the dealership then players should be able to remotely order the vehicle. Either by putting an offer in against the pricelist or paying asking price.
This money is deducted from the customer (and returned if the offer is refused) then the dealer can go through the ordering process. Upon delivery of the vehicle the owner can then assign the vehicle to the customers request. The customer then visits the garage to collect the order.
While this may reduce some of the dealer to customer face to face RP I feel that it opens things up. People will travel to all of the dealerships to view pricelists and make offers. There's less of a disadvantage to being in paleto bay.
People no longer need to spam twitter with "Any dealerships open" and similarly dealership owners don't need to feel restricted in having to come on and effectively wait around for customers.
Also none of this prevents people carrying on as they are, but allows for more intuitive remote interactions.
