Customization Prices of Cars

Just wanted to bring up the pricing of customizations for cars, why are the prices so expensive to mod your car? I remember from back in the day, the prices were initially increased to create a money sink for the economy however I don't think that's the case anymore as we have had many additions over the years to help deal with that. When it comes to engine upgrades, prices seem fair and they already scale with the class of the car. On the other hand, exponentially scaling the price of the mods is insane. I went in to edit my car and the price to pull off the hood from the car costs 80k? In cars that cost 250k and have multiple spoiler options for example the price of the last one costs 120k? That's half the cost of the car.

The prices are way too high and perhaps its time to lower them? I understand if upgrading these bits gave the car some sort of a performance boost but it's all just cosmetic.
Prices of ALL the customizable options should be lowered by a CONSIDERABLE amount. My car is not being modded by Mansory, it's Los Santos Customs god damn it.

Consider changing the value to a flat price for mods in each class eg: spoilers in D Class 3k, C Class 5k, B Class 10k, A Class 20k, S Class 30k, or something like that. Same goes for all the other customizable mods.

If you have a different idea on how it can be done do tell, thanks.

Gotta agree on this.

Many cars will cost more in modification, than the actual cost of the vehicle due to the amount of different variants in bumpers and spoilers etc the newer vehicles have.

+1, the prices for cosmetics now are kinda nuts.

I think for cosmetics an extra part is added for each slot you go down the list, for some cars that have many options this makes the later options silly expensive, especially for small stuff like interiors.

Would be better if the prices were more in line with what they were previously and perhaps capped after option 5 or 6 for cosmetics.

+1 you can buy a car for 500k but then have to spend like 700k just to make it look nice with the 'fancy' parts, modifications are a little out of hand a re-work of the pricing would be nice.

An idea i would like to add onto this is, when you buy a front/rear bumpers and skirts and they are all the same 'brand' there could be a discount implemented or have a option for like whole body kits which include front/rear bumper, skirts which will result in a cheaper option.
