Brief Summary:
Looking for a Solution to either obtaining mechanical repair kits, or changes to how aircrafts are repaired.

Detailed Suggestion:
Hi there. As a Business man and aviator I am asking for an solution to not just my but all aviators issue.
As a passionate aviator and frequent island hopper I am having trouble to repair my Aircraft engines without mechanical repair kits.
We use to have a official supply, but due to the last changes, that supply dried out and now the future looks pretty bleak.
I do not have the correct answer to this issue. Surely it would be easy to just purchase them from either AE or Tire Nuts. They have the monopole. But they wont sell them to Civs, regardless of how important it is.
We could also ask the devs to work on the way how aircrafts are repaired. make them fix with the red toolboxes.
But that would cost precious resources of dev time.

The Pros:
Being able to purchase mechanical repair kits:
No dev time.
No stress
Problem solved

Changing how Aircraft engines are repaired:
Aviator can repair their aircrafts were ever they are without falling from the sky.

The Cons:
Being able to purchase mechanical repair kits:
Aviators all over Los Santos not able to Fly freely anymore and at any time they want.
More unavoidable deaths

Changing how Aircraft engines are repaired:
Dev time

Does this suggestion change balance on the server ?
In my opinion not at all.

Maybe allow LS Air Employees to sell a few mechanical kits each month to aviation pilots or get a license card that allows pilots to purchase small amounts from them or from a warehouse, AE/Tyrenuts and so on.

Being told in city that its a issue with supply (staff controlled) and then being told by staff that its a RP issue is poor communication from both parties involved.

Another good solution would be to implement air craft mechanical kits that only work on aircrafts.

This is a great idea.

I didn't even know what mechanical kits were until months of playing.

I don't think planes should be easy to repair, because then it makes trolling with them or stealing them to use a bit OP, but LS air being able to supply licensed and trained pilots with an aircraft repair kit is such a neat sollution.

this is the best solution for this +1 add a kit specifically for planes/helis
