I'm not much of an AMD fan really so i havent used one of their cards for a long time and unfortunately cant answer that question. 

But if i didnt buy that GPU altis life would run great still right?

It will still run good on settings appropriate for the hardware. You might see some stuttering on high/ultra, especially if going for the 2gb GTX960 instead of the 4GB version.
