The Athria police department used Capital punishment against a wanted criminal today.

Between now and the 4pm restart you may shoot the cops on sight in Athria

RIOT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Yay, guess we can shoot everyone armed in Athira, sounds good.

Again, i'm sorry, RP WISE, the guy had over 40 counts of murder, so i thought what would happen if we let him go out on the streets again...  he would go back murdering people.

Decision was made to put the poor bastard down who also called him self the  "Saint Arachangel MichealJesus guy" and said he used excorsism on the poor people..

Again, i feel my decision was right, i simply could not let him go out on the streets again.

So i'm sorry to the police of Athira, if you wish to blame somebody, blame me.

I did not take shot but it  was my plan and my decision.

Oooh so thats what happened...Well time to stay away from Athira

There was 2 ways of dealing with this.... Ban the people in the police involved or send a very very clear message that capital punishment cannot happen on this server let alone altis

The guy should of been sent to prison and served his time... the police put the law into there own hands..... btw the police who logged off i have your names ;)

Oh wow...

I thought this was a fun thing  with the riot thing not BAM HAMMER INCOMMING level.

Ban them? It is against the law yes the server rules no, I have seen the CSI's which are the admins execute people.

It might as well be RDM

Capital Punishment was outlawed in the UK in 1965.... we have never allowed the police to execute cvillians on this server.

Looking for people to blame... blame the police who carried out these acts of terrorism

You see it from the point from your server rules,

I did it from the point of a RP scenario.

And the way you wrote it seems like you even considered banning me for a simple mistake, i'm sorry but i really thought we all enjoyed it.

Who was exicuted out of interest?... If both parties role played and enjoyed it then what is lost?.. I mean it's been illegal to carry a fire arm j. The UK since 1824 but we don't follow that... And I'm sure there are others... I don't see the need to blow things out of proportion if both role played the situation...and tbh I don't think I've seen it anywhere that it is against server or police rules, Every situation is to be roleplaued to the max? Whilst not condoning public executions I think it's taking the role play a step further than processing someone at the station by which time most people are just pissed off and not having much fun and can't really be bothered.... Now if these two both roleplayed it out, which it sounds like they did... Then I don't see a problem here, better than a few cops I know of who'd be more hungry for the bounty from 40 murders than the roleplay of an execution...

The Athira department played no part in the execution. I asked the guys involved in no unclear terms to take the execution elsewhere if they wanted to carry it out.

As Detective inspector of the Athira Constabulary, I do not condone any of my officers to commit any corporal or capital punishment within my/our jurisdiction. ANY officers caught doing so will be stripped of their rank and un-honourably discharged from the APD, and charged with murder. In NO way was my department involved in the actions taken place.
