Hello @Matthew Labile. Seems like this is a bug at the minute. I let the Dev's know and have been told it will be fixed for the next update, so keep an eye on the change log.

There is 999 space out of 1000 in the storage and the heavy pistol weighs 2 therefore it never went in and it should of stayed in your inventory. Instead it just dissappeared therefore i will be providing you compensation for the items below:
