To clarify Items will have only been lost if you looked at a storage/container/trunk AND interacted with it (meaning put something in or taken something out).

Looking at your containers, any that have weapons also have ammo, so those have fixed themselves. So it looks like you are all good. If not the case please open up another request with which vehicles/houses/containers specifically have lost any ammo.
