Hello everyone, me again. I'm sorry it's not a quick one, but I feel it's an important one.
It's been a few days since I was honoured with the Community Representative position, and I feel I'm quickly adapting to the role. Firstly, I would like to thank all of you guys - Admin, Civs, Police, Rebels, UNMC, NHS and Hobos alike. I've loved getting to know you over the last 7 months, and can't wait to get more involved in the coming year.
Many of you have already been approached by myself for feedback, others have contacted me, and rest assured I will continue with this attitude. Your views are very important to the Admin team and myself, and I can only do my job if you tell me what you feel.
Secondly, I'd like to ask for your help. I was looking to get some honest feedback from you - the community I represent, with regards to my role. I'm open to any comments, criticism, praise or ideas, as well as having some thoughts of my own.
I have my ideas but yours are more important, so go wild, I won't take offence, and always love constructive feedback.
Finally, below I would like to publish a community message from Wilco, who I must thank again for giving me this opportunity.
Dear friends and players of Altis Life UK,
It is with great pleasure we are able to welcome DainMK to be the voice of the admins and the voice of the people here at AltisLife.co.uk.
Furthermore this shows we do listen when suggestions are put forward. Going forward you will only see announcements from myself and the admin team about development of the website/teamspeak and most importantly the servers, in the new renamed 'Development' subforum section. All other announcements will be from the Community Representative.
There has been a lot going on in the community recently with a number of things that we should of just ignored and carried on with, and I need to take some responsibility for that. With the introduction of Community Representative I hope these things will have less of an impact in future.
As well we have introduced the new Mentors, and increased Admin activity, giving better and faster access to help in game and out.
I am not leaving the server or community although it may sound like that. I will be still around as founder working on member support, editing the map, babysitting the servers and continuing to have brilliant discussions with the admin team, working on what this is all about - roleplay, and giving players a fun experience that will hopefully live in their memories, and all we hope is you make amazing friends along the way.
This means DainMK now has full control in his new position. I am sure he will do an amazing job and i am already impressed by his ideas and his voice for radio!
