If you go on the home page and look to the bottom right where you view recent status updates you can create one

Status updates can be enabled or disabled in the top right “Edit Profile”

Not a bug,  it’s actually a feature!

Sure you have @IDKTBH! Click on your name -> Edit profile -> and then enable or disable the feature - locked and moved.
