cant roleplay to get away when you got arrested by cops

I usually get a lot of gold when I've RP the HM Treasury and I get the cops involved somehow. The better your roleplay, usually the better you get treated.

Good example:
Went to the treasury at night wearing a pilot helmet with face shield, and coveralls. My story was that I was an exterminator called it at an emergency due to a rat infestation. Convinced the cops that they had to tread carefully as I had already sprayed the area with a deadly toxin. I also muffled my microphone to make it sound like I was talking through a respirator. Eventually I convinced them there was a colony inside the vault with a rare "queen rat" that could not be killed by conventional poisons. Convinced @SGT Icecubethat we had to put down the queen with his MXC. Afterwards I told the cops that the rats were attracted to all the gold, and the only way to prevent further infestation was to take some gold bars back to the warehouse for "special treatment" with a chemical repellent.

Not only did they enjoy it, they escorted me to the gold buyer.

I also had another good one pretending to be a Catholic priest performing an exorcism until @Farmer Gileshad to screw it up by throwing me off the stairs and mortally wounding me :(

 
I rped myself out of cop killing. You can RP yourself out of most situations if you make it fun for police and rebel alike. What you need to bare in mind that almost everything that people think off on the spot has been done before. So if you put some effort in beforehand to think of something good you might be able to rp out some things. And sometimes you are supposed to go to prison for instance if you are wanted for a couple of mil you normally go to prison. But make up a gpod story with some effort and who knows what will happen!

i would say 99% of times i get away with not having a ticket

speeding and the likes of things like that are easy

wanted vehicles are easy, most cops won't be arsed to go with your story, so i jump out say its my brothers, offer to take them to him so they can arrest him for his crimes, most times they say "when you see him get him to come to the HQ"

i once got off 10 counts of burglary and 3 murders by saying i was a locksmith and we had a hammer incident and showed the officer how it happened by demonstrating how crappy my hammer was on his CSO, making it 10 counts of burglary, 3 murders and a cop killing for a administration fee of £500 to clear up my name and my business. 

Roleplay well, and uniquely, also play into certain cops laziness 

 
The amount of times I have had a  car driving like a mad man when they drive past me, and then when I ANPR them to see why, and its wanted, 1 count of murder manslaughter, then a 10 minute car chase involving driving through elephant grass and offroad, over pavements.... for them to finally get stopped, and then "oh it was self defence"..... dont do that, if you are innocent prove it by showing you are willing to tell your story and if its convincing enough, because we know as cops how much people get robbed and we know how many times a hobo will threaten you.  Make it easy on yourself and RP It well :)

it just never works they just want it done so they can move on they cant hear me out 
 
example: we got take after a fight against the cops then the cop crashed his car and one of us 3 who got arrested got killed by it and me and the other guy who survived got very damaged and he didnt even get compensation for that he killed him by driving towards the prison

@elias_000i find this greatly depends on who you get some are more tolerant than others, can also depend on your quality of RP if you are trolling, also can depend on the seriousness of the crime. 

 
Rped my way outta a 5.3mil bouty once, it took about 2 hours to explain everythin xD, it was great fun!

 
I think its good that its hard to rp out of situations to get away, it makes for more effort in your rp to try and get away and when those rare times come and that one amazing officer goes along with your story/rp and lets you go you can be assured your rp must have been good and you can feel good about that :)

 
I once shot a cop and then got arrested, just randomly came up with a story that a few corrupt cops wanted me dead because I witnessed them murder a drug dealer and told them I thought they come to do the job for them (obviously in more detail) and the put me in protectative custody until their hearing, I may have ratted out  @Axolotland a few other cops that was asleep at the time just for the fun of it :D (Can't believe you never got told about that actually lol)

i would mention the the cops that I was Rping with but it was around 3 months ago and I have slept since then :)

 
Only 20 minutes ago I knocked out a cop and got tazed + restrained. He unrestrained me because I "Hypnotised" him into letting me go, Ohh did I mention I also turned him into a chicken? XD 

 
I could say so far people gotten away with Good rp story's. Mainly based on if you used the same one more than once, you may or may not arrested lol.

 
i have let people off before even if there talking to me for a hour about it it all depends on the RP we have let people off with a ifirit before saying it was a movie prop and he needed to get it to a garage so we esscorted him there a officer drove the ifirit and the guy was telling us all about his move what it was about who was in it like i tell everyone RP the crap out of everything dont skip on the small stuff everything counts

 
It's simples...

Don't do a crime, you won't have to do the time!!

I got one tip about "good roleplay story"

Think original and not the following:

- "Its a huntingrifle"

- "Its a airsoft"

- "Its a fishingrod."

- "Its a walkingstick with optimized scope, bipod and suppressor"

- "Its my car. No wait, its my friends car."

- Run away and then go "I didnt do anything"

- "Let me go or you will be shot"

- Make us chase you for 5 minutes for then going over after being spiked "You cant search my car, as it isnt mine, its my friends car, and I have done nothing wrong" or "I couldn't hear you behind me"

Spend some time in the roleplay, dont rush it, and dont get mad if it doesnt go your way..

(This goes to both sides, someone gave me a good fishing-rod story dressed with proper outfit for fishing and driving a boat, so then i went around and asked for peoples fishing-licenses for the rest of the restart.. If you go around with armor and rebeloutfit with a MK14 on your back saying "na man, its a walking stick from my grandpa, or "ive been fishing" you seem very trustable, huh.)

Exactly. I dont expect oscar winning performances, or a story that would win an award for best original screenplay.

But put a little effort into it.
Its our job to roleplay officers, it's your job to roleplay criminals. If a real criminal couldn't use that excuse and an officer even remotely believe it, we probably will roleplay that we dont. 
Or if you know 400 people used it before, it's also our RP job to do what real officers do "yea yea, the last 10 guys I stopped used that same story. If I had a dollar for every time I heard that excuse".

I mean regardless of how convincing an actor you are, a real cop won't take the "it's not my weed I'm holding it for a friend!" because they have heard it so many times its cliche. The fishingrod/airsoft/not my car ones is our version of that..that cliche "They told the cop this" story that you hear about before you're even a cop.

I take anyone using them as a way to go "Crap I dont want to roleplay right now, what's the goto answers so I can get back to what I was doing". And if that's the case, why you on altis life UK at the current moment we talk to you, if you aren't in the mood to roleplay?

 
I still haven't been to the prison in my over 6 months of playing here... It's not that hard...
