It was never going to be a scam they were 100% legitimate about this and wanted to try something new and bring something new to the board.

Matt was banned which is fair enough but I fail to see why the money of OTHER PEOPLE would not be transferred to markos bank for him to dishout.

Because of that very reason, something like this will never work here.

It's not admin's responsibility to give money to anyone for them to dishout cause members failed to play by the rules. They took the money at their own risk and got banned. So i dont get why admin's should step in and give money to Markoo for him to dishout cause the members or investors of this bank didn't played by the rules and got themselves banned...

I know that you disliked the people that were banned even before all this because they rightly got Gc banned. (Don't say your post had nothing to do with that nor your previous posts in regards to the subject)

I said it would only be RIGHT for people to give the money back, and as i said above, something like this will never work, ever, and this can be used as a prime example, because when shit goes awfully wrong nobody can get any refunds. If marko / matt was to scam this, i guarantee an admin would have stepped in. now they have been banned it would only be right for an admin to take money off matt give it to marko for him to give back to the people that wanted to see something new.

Marko has all the totals and has asked for admin intervention so people don't feel scammed, to no avail.

Once again ali thanks for your input but your going back to the same state you were a while back with your posts and points. You improved a while ago with less of the shit but obviously that hasn't lasted long.

shame it went like this as there intentions were good and honest but seeing as though were a strict roleplay community , bankers losing peoples investments kind of fits in the scheme of things , its wall street all over again lol

YOU CAN'T OPEN THE BANK AND THEN GO BANKRUPT!!!

I WAS RELYING ON THIS ONE TO BE SUCCESSFUL SO I COULD MAKE MY OWN BANK, WITH HIGHER INTEREST RATES, THEN DECLARE IT BANKRUPT AND KEEP THE MONEY, WHAT AM I SUPPOSED TO DO NOW? RIP MY DREAMS OF BANK FRAUD.

'Tis a shame, was a good idea. 

But holding all of the money one one account? Spreading the investments around prevents any major loss in a contingency. Contingency planning is the way forward.

Anyway, how much was lost in total? Would be quite interesting to find out.

In all seriousness Marko is a good person, and I hope no one uses this against him or his reputation.

Unfortunately when you run a clandestine bank operation there are risks, and this was a risk. When a member is banned all their funds are frozen and forfeit, just like we will not complete a comp request if a member is banned.

Roleplay version: These people were deported, their assets frozen.

Reality: They're banned, it's a risk they took and with other people's money..

We are Sad to see a bank collapse, however after previous recessions throughout british history, our experience of bailing out small banks leads to more taxes and charges on the citizens of our great society. We hope anyone affected by the banks collapse will be able to open up new accounts elsewhere or use the Government run Royal Bank of Altis to their full ability. And we expect the police and people of Altis to work hard and protect the reserves in Her Majesty's Treasury.

It was a statement i dont really care who got banned rightly or wrongly in Gc what done is done. I dont dislike anyone as this is a game and i now the difference between a game and reality. This is not shit this is the reality if you can't handle the truth don't read the forums.
