Backend Database server performance?

I'm making a few assumptions here about your setup, but I'm assuming that the Altis Life and Stratis Life servers are all sharing the same backend Database server.

Over the last few days I've noticed a quite severe degradation in performance, sometimes waiting 10 minutes or more for requests for player information, or retrieving vehicles from storage.

I don't know if its due to the new Stratis server putting even more load on the database, and I don't think I've seen any other posts on the forum mentioning it, but I thought I'd let you know.

I can agree, I'm noticing when I revive players etc they are saying in chat/text that they have been playing for another 30 mins and they were fully geared. Think something needs to be done.

This may be true, but I don't think the issue is the actual Altis / Stratis servers themselves, but the shared Database they use. (Which I'm assuming again here is a separate dedicated SQL/Oracle server somewhere.

Sql replication is awesome btw, yes I realise how geeky that sounds but i work quite alot with large multinationals secure servers.

Actually quite curios what sort of size your db is and how you have it configured.

Yeah I know, just always curious. My profession is based around backend server performance for our software which relies wholly on sql to perform properly. I will suppress the urge to comment regarding this in future until asked
