Today i bring you a question for my curiosity, and to decide to rent or not a server of Ark.

My question with this post is to know how many people have it, or willing to play it with us, so i can decide to get a server and / or how many slots i would probably need.

I know this game is heavy in terms of performance, but its way better then when it released. I played it on lowest setting and still had fun!

A few friends of mine played this and they said it seemed really good, It's SERIOUSLY graphics heavy though. When they were playing it it was seriously straining my mates 980 but by god did it look pretty. It did just seem like Yet Another Survival Game, like when every other game released in the past few years was zombie/survival, and everything was "SomethingZ".

I would be interested, but once it's more polished and releases. I've a real thing against buying in to early access/pre-alpha games and i always think it's a scam. Daily updates or not. á la War Z, etc.

Well i play Rust alot, but the lack of PvE kills me.. i swear to god this game is so frustrating and rewarding at the same time.

I cursed this game a lot, now a few months after and trying it, it's just good! 

I'm also removing the "No" option of the poll because it makes no sence.

Thought the same, but after tweeking my settings and playing for a bit (more than 100m) saw the potential of the game.

I think it's way better now than when it came out, but we'll see!

Really fun game to play but only if you're with a group of people you know, if you brought up a server we'd get on it with a few people.

I have it but not played for a while because my friends got bored of it and i didnt liked to play alone. But an active server would be amazing.

None, it's not a finished product and is still TERRIBLY optomised. It runs like a dog on even amazing specs.

This is like the best game released in years for me. The devs release patches every day, something not working? No problem,there is a patch to fix it in the next minute, not to mention the constant updates with new content every week.

Got about 900 hours on it, played on 4 different servers the first 3 were private pvp servers with tweaked settings and fourth one was official 7 which is a american pvp server and on every single server we were the alpha tribe. I know this game better than my back pocket literally and if you want pvp you need to know the setting you have to set to attract people. If you decide to rent a server and need some help or just general advice i can give you a hand, but i wont be available untill the 16th december.

Pro tip; disable the giganotosaurus,its way too op and ruins the fun of raiding. The best part of raids were spino/rex vs spino/rex fights, with the giganoto rexes and spinos are totally useless and have no point anymore.

The thing i found the most annoying and FPS demanding was something like "Resolution downscale", i'm running low settings with resolution downscale about 3/4 and i have a GTX660... and it runs well.. looks shit though.
