i never thought i would ever have to post this and this is going to be quite emotional for me to write due to the reasons i am having to leave but here is my story.
5 months ago me and a friend signed onto altislife as a bit of a joke as we both thought RP servers were a bit shit but the moment i had my first encounter with the police i absolutly fell in love with altislife and i knew that i was destined to become a member of the altis police force even thought had never done anything like it before and i was leaping straight into the deep dark unknown. However, even after only playing on the server for a matter of days i sent in an application and had it accepted. i was ecstatic that my application had been accepted and logged on as soon as possible to do my interview which is when i met one of the people that inspired me and someone that i looked up to through my whole time on altis and that was @Archiewho was performing one of his very first interviews at the time. Thankfully i passed my interview and then completed my training and withing just over a week i became a police constable in the altis police force. Throughout my time in the police i made some incredible friends and it would take me far to long to list them all here but without them i would not be where i am today. i progressed far and before long i was a CFI in NPAS and a SPC in the Road Traffic Unit. This was also about the time that i sent in an application to join the NHS. Unknowing quite what kind of questions i was going to be asked i went down to one of the interview rooms and @CMO MickeeyKindly completed my interview while i was being interrogated by @CMO Marc Smith This was the point i got my name for sounding similar to the legend himself @Papa Hedge.
I didn't quite know what to expect from the NHS but i seemed to be quite good at it and within just over a month i ended up a GP . i loved every moment of my time in the NHS partly because of the people i was around. @CST Salty Vampire, @CST TomTheDoge, @CST Joel Denning and of course the CMOs and many more were massive influences on me during my time in the NHS and i wouldn't trade it for anything.
My final big achievement in altis was being promoted from a CFI to Deputy of NPAS by @INS Willis. with his brutal Scottish power and my second to none flying ability we commanded NPAS for a good while fixing the issues NPAS faced and really increasing the units capabilities in situations. This is the place where i sat for a while. i was an SPC and DNPAS in the altis police force and a CST and AVM in the NHS and it felt amazing, i was good friends and colleagues with some amazing people. After 4 months of being in the altis police force Stress started to hit me and i started to under perform and lose activity. I thought long and hard about my next week on the server but i deciced to try and relax a bit i left the ploce force after a long time serving proud in RTU. Being a rebel was never my biggest ambition and i think is the main reason i am writing this post as the stress of constantly dying and being arrested started to make me depressed and it may have unfortunately been the reason i flipped and swore at @INS Mysticover TS which i do regret and am very sorry for.
Due to my current increase of work and quite frankly a rather big hit of depression im currently fighting i have decided to call it a day on altislife. I will be back whether it be in a few weeks or a few months this is not the last time i will post on this forum. There are loads more people i want to thank very dearly for my oppertunities on altis but this post is already long enough. i wish all of you good luck with your futures on altislife and i hope to see you all in the future.
P.S. if anyone needs help getting better at flying then just hit me up on the forums and i will be glad to lend assistance
Thanks
