Currently ANPR cameras only alert that they have been disabled the moment they have been disabled. This basically gives police no opportunity to actually stop the cameras being disabled or catch the criminals that are breaking the cameras.

What I am suggesting is similar to how shop robberies work where we get a report like. ANPR Cameras x is being tampered with.  Other suggestions could be the camera taking a picture like the hospital cctv so we have proof of the crime. 

Basically what I am suggesting is some way for the police to be able to stop the people disabling cameras before they are disabled.

So make it even harder for 'criminals' to do the crime? Half the 'criminal' activities can only be done when there are a certain amount of police in the city, no need to take something so simple and make it even easier for police  -1

Speaking from a pretty much police main perspective, this is a big -1 from me. Its just a petty crime and usually they will go back to the camera to do it again if you fix it, multiple avenues you can take to catch them instead of this. Good intent, bad suggestion imo.

-1 your suggestion closes down many possible outcomes of roleplay. From a policing perspective, its fun trying to anticipate when and where the crim will strike next. From a crim perspective, its a low level crime that doesn't require the same response as a shop alarm, bank job etc.

If the camera is disabled then it can't take a picture of the criminal. Don't see an issue with how it is currently.​
