The rule C2.3 hasn't changed much since the ARMA days, my suggestion is putting the rule into a more 'up-to-date' version
CURRENT
(C2.3) Combat logging - Logging out at any point during RP is exploiting. Some examples of this include: logging out during a firefight, being chased by the police, arrested by the police, while dead awaiting a medic, logging out in order to save gear, rage-quitting, logging out whilst restrained/detained. Punishment is a permanent ban. Staff can make an informed decision depending on if you’ve made an attempt to resolve the issue. We do suggest you attempt to rejoin the server and continue the roleplay (try messaging them with the mobile system first).
NEW (with amendments)
(C2.3) Combat logging - Logging out at any point during RP is exploiting. Some examples of this include: logging out during [1] any form of combat, while being chased [2] by the police,[3] arrested by the police, [4] incapacitated, logging out in order to save gear, rage-quitting, logging out whilst restrained/detained. Punishment is a permanent ban. Staff can make an informed decision depending on if you’ve made an attempt to resolve the issue. We do suggest you attempt to rejoin the server and continue the roleplay (try messaging them [5] via OOC means first).
[1] 'during a firefight' was the previous wording, due to ARMA 3 only having those kind of fights. FiveM offers other forms of combat, which is now clarified and included as per amendment 1.
[2] Logging out while being actively pursued / chased, regardless by whom, constitutes as combat logging.
[3] 'arrested by the police' is already covered by 'logging out whilst restrained/detained'
[4] Rewording of 'while dead awaiting medic' to 'while incapacitated'. Awaiting medic or not is irrelevant.
[5] mobile system is referring to an ARMA 3 feature, the in-game phone should not be used for "OOC".
