amd processors

Go with the AMD FX-8320 Bare in mind that its socket AM3+, Other than that i dont know ahaha not a big AMD cpu fan i love there GPU's tho as i own a i5 4690K and a R9 280 and get roundabout 60min 75avg 90max in towns.
Yeah,if you want great performance in Arma/DayZ wait for Arma 4 on new engine or sell your kidney for Intel CPU(comparison:In Poland your I5 is almost 3x more expensive than Fx6300 1000PLN vs 420 PLN)

Alright! I was looking at that cooler you are using and im probably going to buy one. What is your components temp when you are playing arma 3?
@riku

 The CPU usually stays around 30C-40C when gaming / recording / music etc... and idles at 11-17C. Aslong as you can get your temps low enough and check your MB can take the extra volts and stress test it a OC will be fine.

oh lol. with my stock cooler and stock clocks my mother board is like 80c and processor 70c when gaming. maybe more

I have a 8350, and a r9 290 graphics card. When im out in the fields wit not much going on i get like 30-40 fps, when im in major towns and stuff like that, i get about 0-25 fps lmao! Cant wait to upgrade to intel, but the moneyyy

As i said,sell your kidney!

P.S. In Q3 AMD is releasing it's new Zen series CPUs that are supposed to finally reach Intels level of core performance + AMDs ammount of cores in good price,i want to see that succeed cause i love AMD and have been using this brand for past 10 years.

If you want to spend the money go with Intel. Theres no doubt Intel are the front runner in consumer and business grade CPUs. It doesnt have to overly expensive though, a 2600K overclocked easily to 5.0 Ghz will do very well.

yup I use AMD and dont have any issue's. if i got intel i suppose i would get a 10fps boost, but i dont think its worth spending twice as much.

Then again i have 3 kids so dont have much money :(

I have a second computer that uses an amd 760k (it's essentially the fastest fm2 chip AMD A10-7850K without that intergrated apu nonsense) and I have no complaints with it. get's around 50 to 70 fps in arma 3 (overclocked to 5.2ghz mind). I don't use it that often it's mainly for gaming in the front room but what a chip. Brilliant for the price.
