I think this should be possible within x amount of time afterward for mistakes but not minutes or hours later.

I agree! Perhaps you should only be able to delete it 5 minutes after the post has been made, if you wait any longer then you cannot delete it

I'm pretty sure we used to have this feature. However, would be amazing to have it back (or added). I'm constantly questioning myself if I'm logged into the correct Tweedle.
