Allow 3rd Person Shooting on Bikes and as Passenger of cars.

Detailed Suggestion:
It has been a while since 3rd person shooting was removed. We have all had time to see how it has impacted the server, such as no more "rocket league meta" and forcing people to decamp and have foot fights more, which I believe is more enjoyable.
Now, what I am suggesting is that the ability to shoot in the 3rd person camera is reactivated for bikes and passenger seats of cars.

For bikes, it would be the same as it was in the past where you could shoot any gun you can now from a bike but in third person. I believe this isn't that much of a change in the meta because when you are on a bike you are still very exposed to being shot or even crashing and coming off.

Now, being able to shoot third person as a passenger in cars will probably slightly affect the server meta regarding firefights, but I don't think it will shift the meta completely or make it anything like it was in the past where everyone was in "war cars" ramming the fuck out of each other (rocket league meta). I believe this is the case because when you could shoot third person as the driver, you could control the car and your aim, meaning you could be as accurate as you possibly could as a person, whereas if you are the passenger, you do not control the vehicle and therefore it is harder to aim unless you can perfectly communicate with the driver of the vehicle in terms of the direction you want them to go, whether you need them to stay straight etc.

The Pros:
Varies firefights.
Gives bikes more of a use.
Less cars would be seen at firefights (no more 25 cars deep)

The Cons:
Dev work

Does this suggestion change balance on the server ?

+1 for the bikes, not sure about the passenger part though
 
Not going to lie if it was to happen it will have to be both you can't just change one or you will see 25 bikes with sawn-off shotguns.
 
Now at the end of the day this is just a suggestion. I wanted to see what people thought and get opinions.

If I was to make this suggestion just for bikes, people would ree I'm only doing it because I am in the Lost MC and ride bikes, hence why a counter suggestion for cars was also added in.

If the bikes part was added, you would not see 25 man on bikes in my opinion, you'd definitely see a lot more, but not 25 due to how vulnerable you are while on a bike. All you'd have to do to counter a bike is remain in cover or on high ground. Another way to counter bikes is to ram them off said bikes in cars.
 
I think for sure it needs to be changed to 3rd person on bikes, using a sawn off on a bike is more or less impossible to be effective at all nowadays because of the inability to actually aim far upwards and downwards, and it’s balanced by how vulnerable you are on a bike, unsure of the passenger part however, feel like people would just be 4 man up in a sultan with the 3 passengers spraying in 3rd person and anyone without passengers would stand 0 chance

+1 for on bikes. I know it’s a bit of a bias opinion with being lost but like Wayne said it’s literally impossible on a bike because of the field of view. Allowing 3rd person on a bike wouldn’t really change any sort of balance either because you’re so vulnerable on a bike compared to a car, it would add another factor to gunfights really.

The only people it’d really have a disadvantage for is Police, as crims would be able to do ‘drive bys’ with sawnoffs.

Good change for bikes only, not cars, in my opinion

The added all vehicles 1st person -> People wanted bikes 3rd so they made bikes 3rd -> Meta became bikes and no one liked it so asked for it to be removed -> got removed and rocket league wars was insane -> Added back to 1st person shooting -> This is where we are now asking for bikes to be 3rd person again

In my personal opinion, bikes have never been the meta. I've been here for 4 years, been in the Lost for all 4 of those years and never have I thought or seen that bikes were the meta or have I ever used shooting from bikes regularly or in "wars/beefs" because of how vulnerable you are on a bike as already mentioned.

It appears the people have spoken, the majority here are a +1 on shooting from bikes but a -1 for shooting as a passenger.

+1 on bikes. We never see bf400 with a sawnoff anymore. As with any fight, balance is everything. You won't have 25 bf400 with sawnies same way you don't have 12 helis with revs in them. It's all about balancing it out. Have a couple people on roofs, have a heli with revs/markies, have some cars, have some on foot with AR's, have some bikes with sawnies. TLDR: 3rd person bike good, 3rd person passenger bad.
