Brief Summary:
Add the ability to buy Sim Cards/Change phone numbers
Detailed Suggestion:
Stores or pawn shops could be able to sell sim cards, or add a phone store where you would be able to buy these(more work). I think if this would get implemented, we could keep it balanced by making it in a way a luxury, for example how drills are a lot more expensive that most things you can buy, make sim cards more expensive to buy. It may be also up for consideration to limit amount of sim cards a player could own. I think if someone buys a sim card they should be given a randomly generated phone number instead of being able to choose their own number, to keep it more realistic.
In my opinion this is one of the very few things that no one can willingly change without a character change, if they want to do something and not be traced. You can steal a vehicle or use an NPC one, make a new Tweedle account, use a voice changer, change outfit ETC, but your given phone number will always link you to whatever you're doing, if it involves using a phone(which most of the time it will)
The Pros:
1.Improves RP
2.Makes the gameplay more realistic
3.Allows people to have a personal and a business phone number
4. This could also make business for people who get lucky and get simple/short phone numbers, they could then sell them to businesses or well known people if they're are interested
5. Adds additional security for players wanting to keep their anonymity if they're planning to do something sketchy
The Cons:
1. May require a lot of Dev work, as in my opinion this would be quite a major addition to the server
2. Would probably make CID's work a bit more difficult when it would come down to tracking someone down or building a profile on them.
Does this suggestion change balance on the server ?
