A question for Altis Players

Why are you playing Altis instead of Tanoa?

I Think first of all we can start from that someone will make event to there etc that people will join there and if on that way we can get engines running, or big gangs will decide to give it a try we can easily get it populated by 50+ players! that would be F***ing great I bought tanoa last week but it's kinda boring to play alone :D

 
I would be more than happy to sit at the airport and offer helicopter tours to newcomers, but there's never any newcomers!

Maybe I'll organise something on the forums when I'm back from Germany.

 
I do play sometimes but unfortunately I get very lonely. The last two times I played my car could stuck on absolutely nothing and I ragequit and since then I have not returned.

I spent three days doing nothing but fishing, tobacco, frogs and LSD when there was enough Police,  all of that just using a boat (oh and a 4x4 to get the tobacco leaves at the start).

So I don't think there is a problem with the boats other than Arma bugs killing you with physics every now and then.

I have money and things and I've got myself started. However due to the inactivity of LOV I have no one to play with at the moment. Looking for more than short term friends. I do still play but not as regularly.

 
Almost everyone think "I don't play because there isn't enough people on" and then they don't join the server, thats what makes the server so empty, because everyone thinks the same and then they don't even try to join...

I understand the mentality. I wouldn't want to play on a server with <10 people unless I was invested in it.

As others have suggested, we should arrange some sort of event in-game that will allow players to get back onto the island.

@Wilco@TinyBigJacko @NeoAny chance we could arrange something like this? Like a big RP session at the Airport?

 
I played on the Altis server for a couple of weeks and now I switched to the Tanoa server.

I like playing on it because eveybody is very nice and are willing to help you out. First 2 days somebody gave me a Truck Boxer to make some money and now I'm giving my truck or tempest to new guys who need some help to get started.

I'm investing in myself and after playing on it for 4 days now (3 or 4 hours a day) I reached level 28, got a tempest and around 100.000 in the bank.

The only downside is that the only runs that are profitable are the copper and iron runs (with the tempest around 25.000 in half an hour), the diamond run will take allmost  an hour with the tempest and the profit is like 30.000 so its not worth it. 

Banana, mango, Sugar, fishing, tabacco enz only get you a couple of 1000 en the illegal runs (i did a weed run) are not worth it at the beginning because you make less than a copper/iron run and you lose XP instead of getting it.

I think and hope when I reach level 50 I can buy a Mohawk and than I can do diamond runs much faster and maybe try a Crock or a cocaïne run to get some more money in the bank and be a little bit ahead when more people are comming to Tanoa.

So I would like to say to people give it a change and if you give it a change maybe somebody else will also and so on and so on.

Some events were people can win or get something I think will work also.
