5,000 Storage Truck for Civilians & Increase Benson Storage

Detailed Suggestion

Add 5,000 storage truck for civilians, such as the G6 one but without the livery. Truck would be available at Bosh's Truck's for a reasonable price. 

Benson's should have 1,000 storage instead of the 500. 

Pros: 

- QOL improvements 

- Easier for mining companies to establish

- Easier & faster to move materials around

Cons:

- None

Does it change the balance?

This balances the server since G6 have it, so should civilians. Benson's having 1,000 storage just makes more sense than such a large truck only having 500 storage.

You could argue the same thing for cars being faster,. Having a lower storage encourages players to work with other when doing things like mining or transport on a large scale.

I don't think that's a good comparison here, having larger storage trucks makes more sense when transferring materials. Working with others will not change if the storage does increase, if anyone more people will work together since they'll know they wont have to do 100 trips to the mines and back to wherever they store it.

One hell of a big +1 on this, I don’t get how a hauler / phantom with No trailer has the same storage as a pounder for example. Doesn’t make sense. 
 

In addition, would make truck robbery a lot more ripe meaning you’d have to be extra careful when moving those valuable goods around.

Personally i think getting 5k storage in a truck just makes it so there is less of a chance of convoys getting hit since every cop will be stacked around the truck with the stuff since its only 1 truck and not multiple and i don't think i am the only one that thinks that.

5 000 storage shouldn't have been added to any trucks to begin with either it be police, Group 6, NHS or Civs its just a stupid amount of storage.

I even think 1000 might be to much but its at least more "reasonable".

Moral of the story IMO remove the 5 000 storage truck and make it 1000 and make the Benson's 1000 and that would be the max storage for a truck.

This truck is purely used for evidence transports, not for any 'runs' such as a materials run etc so is completely irrelevant to be used as a balancing point for civilians to up their storage.

Give me an example of when just one evidence truck has been used where police 'stacked around the truck'.

Whether the truck has 5000 storage or 500, an evidence convoy can still utilise multiple trucks and simply not fill them to 100% capacity.

If everyone got stuff out of "Conveniance" gangs would have 5000 storage trucks at the mines instead of having to move back and forward with trucks and this is why i am saying they should t exist for both sides regardless what it is for.

This simply hasn't happened.

Just because the G6 trucks have the capacity to just use 1 truck instead of 2 trucks, it doesn't mean it has been done.

Either way, it could be arguably easier to hit a convoy as you only need to steal 1 truck instead of 2 which makes your point irrelevant.

The "Convenience" is to allow for a mini server event whereby gangs can attempt to make significant gains from hitting a convoy - the alternative is simply to have a reduced reward for gangs.

I do agree with some trucks being bigger storage but i think a 5000 would be abit to much. Maybe 1000 yes.

100% agree but it's not like there isn't already a 5000 storage truck in the game I think that's the problem right now I wouldn't mind like putting certain trucks like the Benson up to 1000 or like you said a trailer attached to truck gives it a bit extra storage, but the rest is honestly just dumb and if every truck had a huge storage people would just use their Trucks as storage containers basically.

I would edit the main post from 5,000 to 1,000 but everyone has replied and wants 1,000 so I haven't. I've agreed and seen other POV's on it and also think 1,000 would be a good number.

Years ago we had the option to buy trailers from up at Beekers garage in Paleto bay, they cost £500k - £600k each for some of them, but they didnt do anything. There were ones with logs on the back and box trailers/freight containers and all sorts. Some had liveries on the side and all sorts of stuff. Couldnt you just bring those back and let them be owned and parked by players. 

Give the container an extra 1000 storage on top of that of the hauler/phantom (whatever vehicle is hauling the trailer) and have done with it? this would help things a little bit. The mine would be an absolute mission to get to with a trailer btw, just so you know. But fruit picking/fishing etc would be ok (well at least until you went to sell your fish). 

Yes it would imbalance the storage container industry probably but if people genuinely needed all of that storage space then its there - just good luck getting your shiny new trailer in and out of all of the places where you feel you need to go to fill it up. 

Also parking it might be a shit thing too.
