There are no good reasons to be abusive towards other people in game, on teamspeak, or indeed even real life. To me this looks like a road traffic accident, not a malicious VDM. I understand they tried to resolve it, and some compensation was offered which I think is the right thing to do as a gesture of goodwill. I will not however issue a ban for VDM.  Denied.
