Apparently, with the new patch came the rule that if your vehicle has blown up/damaged beyond repair it is gone completely or as Wilco himself put it "Wiped from the Data base." It's to add more realism. This is maybe why you can't retrieve it from your garage. 

As i said, one day you will do it to the wrong person. You can't even seem to have a mature discussion about a matter without sounding guilty. The way you communicate makes you seem like the type that would grief, troll and rule break. Try and act your age.

I think it's an awesome idea. I'd prefer to wait for it to be less buggy then a rushed version. But i can't wait to so it implemented! It should really improve the role play aspect 10fold ;)
