What a crazy week!!!

Got enrolled at the ranger station which was an eye opener. Never had such a formal meeting. The uniforms aint too shabby either. Me and Merlin went out hunting for the first time and shot a few stags. Took me a while to get the hang of it but felt like I'd achieved something atleast. And the money wasnt too bad either.

Sadly on the way back myself and Merlin got held up by a gang on bikes. They accused Merlin of stealing their truck? Needless to say he hadn't however this gang wasnt having any of it. They shanked him up and did a runner. I had to rush him to the hospital in absolute tears thinking he was going to die but lucky the wounds were only superficial. 

After a day or so he was feeling better so we looked into more part time jobs to mix things up. We both got jobs down at the inpound collecting broken down cars. Nice and easy job tbh aslong as the radios decent. 

We ran into a guy name Evri, awesome guy and very helpful. We kept crossing paths around the city so we knew he was good man. We brushed paths up north recently but sadly we were in an accident. We were grabbing some groceries and a car crashed into the petrol pump. BANG!! We all got knocked out. Luckily the guys in the car we somewhat ok and were able to get us all to hospital. Being in hospital seems to be a running trend in this city......

few more days go by, we keep our heads low, graft and graft some more and make new friends. I think we now have enough money to buy a cheap apartment in the city, now its just a case of finding an available one.

First day in the city......well, where do I start? Friend of Max left me a run around car at his gaff. I should be grateful but its a pile of junk. I would rather walk. I met up with Merlin after our long journey from the UK, Weather is a lot nicer here at least. I just hope I can remain T total out here. New start to life, I cant get caught up in the drugs again. Myself and Merlin decided to get part times job so we went into the city this morning to see what was available, met some guy named Spen who told us to get go and speak to Chris, one of the Rangers in the mountains. Me? A hunter? HA.....but I cant afford to turn down some quick cash to get us on our feet. I got up there and ended up feeling a lil woozy, not sure if it was from the heat or the altitude...but oh my did I drop like a sack of shit. Before I could even get a chance to speak to Merlin I was rushed to the hospital by a gentleman whose name I didn't catch. Spent a few hours in hospital and finally got discharged so made my way back up to the ranger station. Luckily Chris was still there and gave us a run down of how hunting works and provided an application form. It had been a long day so we took the forms back to Max's friends gaff for the night to get some shut eye. Woke up early the next morning feeling shattered from lack of sleep and a crusty smelly mattress. After grabbing some breakfast we dropped the application forms in at the ranger station and was told to wait for Chris to contact us so we headed into the city for some sight seeing and to find a potential apartment to move into once we get some money coming in. There was nothing. Its going to take some time settling in and so far people have been friendly. let see how long that lasts.
