    On my way to JET, the Joint European Torus, the world's biggest nuclear fusion reactor. Based here in Oxfordshire. Times like this make me grateful we are in the EU, otherwise we'd be missing out on all this cool science!

    I'll be honest I'll probably end up leaving the community soon enough (probably next few weeks). Games really are consuming too much time 😂 This was my 2nd visit to JET, the amount of people and diagnostics alone is as impressive as the reactor. It's been up almost a decade before I was born, and was so awesome to see specialists from all over the world working together. When you have a 3.5m, 1100tonne concrete door you can tell what's inside is expensive. The best thing I can say is even if you aren't a scientist, it's so important not to turn your nose up at something you don't understand; I feel alot of people who don't understand sciences assume it is therefore unimportant and therefore don't consider it when voting.

    Will be performing an RP UNMC event/exercise for our soldiers this Saturday. Looking for 15-20 people willing to spend about an hour [20:30-21:30] to be involved as civilians in this. Those interested please PM me or find me on TS or just contact me. Will be looking for people with a decent RP standard. Hoping that all parties involved will have a fun experience.
