UPDATE:
Been up to see my friend in hospital today. He was awake which is always good. Spoke to the doctor and he said "Your friend is extremely lucky, initially when he was brought into us we thought it was a lot worse then it actually is. Whatever you guys have been doing it has worked" -Doctors exact words. The doctor also said then are currently unsure about when they can discharge him but he thinks that it will be pretty soon!

My friend who was hospitalized due to a vehicle accidents is "recovering perfectly" - doctors words. They still can't say when he will be out but it is looking to be pretty soon!
