    Not pointing fingers at you as I hear your very mature for your age @DSGT Fergus but the young recruits program under 16 should have never happened, If I had my way then the Police or any whitelisted faction would be 18+, Obviously, we cannot do that as we would be very limited but unfortunately in the world if your in a place of high authority then the sound of your voice and age does have an impact on that level of authority (that's the way of the world and has been and will be the way long after you or I are here)

    To add, you shouldn't find this pretty sad in fact you should be happy you are already in! what would have been considered sad is if we enforced this with people already in the Police, Obviously we are not that unfair.

    I feel as the old way we did this was much better, It's not like it was impossible for people under 16 to join the force, it's just that it was on a strict invite only basis, I was 15 when I joined the police force the first time, on an invite from CSI Fuel & Neo. This was because I had proven my roleplay cababilities and my maturity level. I think, especially as Wilco said the voice and the way you are affects the authority that you're given. The young recruit program was a complete failure, everybody saw it, few neglected it, some defended it, but in the end, it turned out for the better.

    I'm sure the youngsters in the community who would like to join the police would like I, or Ross, or Summers (Just who I can think of off the top of my head) prove themselves and get invited.

    Wilco, in response, I agree that voice can have an impact, but my voice is low. An academy member thought I was 15, when I I'm 12. I'm a YR about to do an FTT. Agree that people take you less seriously as an under-age. Just sad for people who didn't get the chance that I did. But that's life.

    I'd like to thank you for being fair and allowing current YR's to stay. I just have sympathy for those who didn't get a chance.
