Hello.
This is not a deep suggestion or something that will change the game but I think this would be a neat idea.
Many groups and people within the city have in the last few years created songs based withing RPUK, yes these can be played via Bluetooth but this means that this cannot be seen as a thing to be monetized in game and I think this is a missed opportunity within the city.
What I am suggesting is a way to create Tapes that can sit in the inventory, these then can be embedded with the unlisted youtube link for example so people can only access and listen to the song via the game (Makes the link unfindable so people cannot bootleg it) that will then create that song as a item, then by accessing boomboxes or even the speakers littered about the city unusable you can then use this item on them playing the song.
This could allow RP avenues of people selling their own mixtapes, people creating albums of artists. maybe a record shop one day for someone to own? Musicians, managers, media agency RP I think delving into the players creativity could easily allow such good RP to form. this will obviously come with rules but I would love to collect, buy sell and trade music and have a collection IC.
This is just a small idea I had, it could even go further with video tapes ect but I know the music system is already in place and I think this would not be a difficult thing to implement.
