So, in my evidence it will start with me finishing some roleplay with police, as I was wanted. I then carry on with my objective which was to get a helicopter out at the hanger. I role up to the hanger, and see him driving away from an incident with the police, he then gets in their vehicle and starts driving at a very slow speed, I then get out my car in front of his, and tell him to lower the weapon, at this point I am aiming a mark one at him, and he is aiming a 45. Acp at me, I tell him to go and listen to the officers. He then knocks me out, without saying anything apart from "look who it is boys", and proceeds to drive away. I tried to speak to him in teamspeak, but as soon as I let him know I was there to talk about his roleplay within the situation his tone changed and I feel like he was quite rude towards me, also he did not feel like he did anything wrong in the situation. As he had no acknowledgement of doing anything wrong I went to a member support to ask their opinion, where the member support says his verdict is that it was failrp. This is why I have taken this here, as I saw it impossible to resolve the situation with the attitude shown by Gricey.

Umm... ok?

1) No attempt was made to talk, he joined our lobby which I was fine with, then started talking to me about the situation which happened at the airfield where as I was roleplaying with some guys and the police, then someone came up to me and started interfering with our current roleplay situation which I felt was unnecessary. This annoyed me (shouldn't have to be honest) which lead to me knocking him out and driving off.

2) In teamspeak you said I was aggressive which I think is quite disrespectful as I had no intentions of being aggressive towards anyone. You simply joined which I had no problem with, asked if I had done anything wrong and I disagreed. My tone did not change, however I was unsure why you was questioning the situation which obviously meant I was confused.

Adding onto the "impossible to resolve the situation because of his attitude"... You joined the lobby and we spoke (said above) about the previous situation. All you said was "Do you think anything is wrong with it?" so I said no. You then said good bye and left, leaving me confused.

Later on I am told I was reported, I asked them what for and they said "fail rp". I looked at my report straight away and was shocked. I don't know how someone can say that they tried to resolve it when no attempt was made, other than saying "have you done anything wrong?".

All I ask for is next time please TELL me what I have done wrong so I can learn from it.

Just to add aswell: After talking to him again in teamspeak, I apologized for the attitude in game as I was just trying to roleplay with the others, not get interrupted by someone else.

We made attempts to talk, and I felt your attitude would not be resultant in a peaceful resolution and therefore to prevent arguments on teamspeak, coupled with your belief that you did nothing wrong, I decided to let the admins decided.
I later rejoined your lobby once you had seen the report, with you saying "you should have told me you were going to report me", personally I don't believe the threat of a report should be part of a resolution, you should want to resolve irregardless of any potential bans.

Lastly, I would like to add that when we rejoined your lobby at a later date, you were sighing as we spoke, being passive aggressive with your comments and dismissive to our issues; Your own gang member "Matt Ajazuri" even stated that your attitude was poor and had you had the same attitude earlier, he wouldn't have continued resolutions if he was in my position.

in terms of the actual in game matter; I do not believe there to be any excuse for knocking someone out simply so they dont "interfere" with your roleplay

This is petty in my opinion, I came into teamspeak and spoke to you about it, I didn't like your attitude, and neither did one of your gang higher ups. Saying that I didn't come and talk to you is quite honestly a lie. I also don't see the point of this topic, as it isn't the main problem. The problem is what happened in game, and how you failed to deal with it afterwards. You just saying I didn't come to talk about it wont get anywhere, as it is your word against mine. I recommend we focus on the point in game.

So carrying on from what I just said, I don't see how this is a valid reason to knock me out?

Could you explain to me why you did it in a more defined way, because I am still confused on this matter

You asked him about the situation and said do you think you did anything wrong, He replied No and then you said Okay, goodbye thanks. That is not resolving the situation or trying to resolve at all. I may have a recording of this situation I may not. If an admin would like me to create a video of this chat. I'm happy to do so.

If its okay for "Sir Liam" to post his issues here as he was there when jake came to lobby, i would also like to place my input as i was there.

I would like to express that i came in to teamspeak after the fact, and tried to resolve this peacefully, my first comments i made were met with "sighs" from Gricey, and my second comments were met with passive aggressive statements from him also. in addition it was noted by both myself and members of griceys own gang (matt ajazurai) that he didnt really care too much for what we were saying and was rather dismissive of any problems.

I would like to state that i personally feel that john could have perhaps done a little more to resolve the situation with gricey initially however, i do not feel it is on the complainants onus to highlight the severity of any issues and that Gricey should have done more to accept responsibility to begin with, rather than present a hostile attitude

Gricey only wanted to resolve said issue, once there was a risk of a ban, which in my personal belief is the wrong reason for wanting to resolve situations. (it should be done for the fact that you did something against altis life rules)

Stating what i said to Gricey in teamspeak; "It shouldnt matter whether or not you are going to be reported as a result of any situation; but rather that if an individual has reason enough to come to your teamspeak, you give him the decency of trying to resolve the issue"

I am quite surprised to see such a well established player doing something this stupid. @Gricey

I have read the report, and all the comments to go with it.  So here are my comments.

Gricey this is awful RP, no value of life and im quite ashamed to say the least. You are a well Established member off this community and know how serious we are about the rules. From reading this report I get the feeling that you may have been abit annoyed / heated when trying to get this issue resolved however we're all adults and must treat each other with respect.

Your friend even states when this was trying to be resolved you could of done abit more. Reporting should be a last resort, however I understand when things are heated we sometimes we make rash decisions and / or we don't resolve things to the best of our abilities.

In conclusion.

Im going to reject this report, under the fact of no one was killed / hurt and nobody lost anything along with what I stated above about resolving the issue. However @GriceyYou're not off the hook. I want you to personally apologise to Bitsup and I am giving you an official warning.
