What Cars have you owned

So in my lifetime I have owned some good cars & bad what about you?

My first car I ever owned when I was 18 was an Orange Fiat Strada it was full of rust & reverse gear did not stay in so I had to hold the gear stick but it was mine.

After 8 months of travelling round the UK with my mates including my first ever holiday without the parents to Bournemouth it finally died on me.

Then I had a few company vehicles but after a few years my next car was a Ford Mk1 Cortina GT.

After another 4 years & a few thousand pounds repair bills I went for something a bit more modern.

I loved the old Uno Turbo & took great pleasure in beating XR3 & 4's off the lights in this but alas I was getting older & felt I needed something bigger.

Although the Rover Coupe car had the looks it was in fact a pile of shit so I got shot & now being a family man I now have.

We have now had this Focus Sport for about 7 years but it is still nice to drive & we have no plans to change.

Ghost I bet you have spent more on Fuel than I have on cars.

I like this section already!

I started out with a 1992 Peugeot 205 GTi with a 405 Mi-16 engine. (184BHP)

Next was another completely original 205 1.9 GTi.

After that I went on to bigger engines, I drove a Golf 3 VR6 modded to a full build 3.0 engine putting out well over 200BHP, great sound and absolutely great fun. I still have this car!

Then I drove some people-carriers for practical purposes, and saved up my money to buy a project car.

This project began as an original Audi S2 2.2 5cylinder Turbo and now it has a completely build 2.3 engine putting out                        around 420BHP to all 4 wheels. ( around 500HP on the crank) It is still being worked on, chassis is custom and this will be my 'business card'

Loving the cars you guys, I have only just been driving a year maybe.

So currently I have a 1.4 ford fiesta Zetec, and after driving a Porsche Cayenne 4.8 v8 my fiesta feels like a fucking snail.

So yea I want something with more power at the moment

Started off with a 1 litre Ford Fiesta...Tried to show off to some college friends and handbrake turned it and landed on a house...well in the garden wall to be more specific:

From that a turquoise Peugeot 106 (Was vandalised by a big skin head when my friend shot him in the back of the head with a large water pistol)

Then, very randomly I ended up with one of these at 19 years old: (I actually really liked it!)

Then...part exchanged for the ultimate hair dresses car..which was great fun on country roads:

Then ended up with one of these babies (without the modern wheels):

Then...

then a Seat Leon, another Vauxhall vectra and then I fancied something with a bit more speed so changed to: (Wish I bought the 3 Litre version though!)

and then at the same time (company car):

and finally, now I have kids a nice family car - another Volvo S40:

Which currently needs a new cambelt. Grrrr.

That Cortina I had had a 1600mm Stage 2 competition engine with high lift cams, lightened fly wheel,  balanced crank etc. etc. Similar to what you get on a Caterham

It also had a set of these babies.

And sounded like.

I remember the first night I had it I drove it 8 miles & the big ends went so I had to take it back to get the engine fixed.

My dad had a set of these plus holleys with big peco exhaust system on his rover SD1 3.5 V8 .... Throw in some over sized firestones.... man the sound that thing made .I guess thats where i got my love of big cars with V8s ............Thanks Dad for the speed thrills as a kid.
