I have successfully revived my old laptop. I have no idea why, but I did.
It had no drivers and wouldn't even boot, now its running windows 8.1 and is as smooth as butter.
Prepare yourself for some awesome specs.
+ Integrated Intel Graphics.
This was mainly to have the rust live map open on it, to stop me having to alt+tab out all the time. But it was a fun little side project.
