Your Youtube Videos in #socials

It's not often something gets posted in #socials,

I would love to see a place in the official discord where we can see youtube video's of our community where people have put a lot of effort into them.

(I don't mean medal clips people took but entire youtube video's made with them)

Maybi we can make an application form where people can send in their video's to be posted in the discord? And if accepted it gets posted in #socials?

as an example look at the amount of effort has been put in this video! It deserves a place to get the attention it deserves in my eyes.

It would be excited to see more people tempted to then make video's from their perspectives and see fun competative stories unfold to watch from others in the city.

#socials is mainly used for twitter posts afaik, but i don't see why not

though

posting glorified frag montages(which that video is) is not something i would want to see in there.
we have a thing where we don't want RPUK in frag montages, so posting it on the discord as a "official"(staff lead+ or whatever) message seems counterintuitive


i'm all for videos with more RP than frag stuff though

That's where the application form would come in handy with! That was staff can decide what they would like to show in the discord and the community gets an easy way to see more of the city life then ever before! (without having to search and find a video by luck)

In theory, posts made in the Social Media Submission subforum, should be considered for Twitter (or other SM posting) which would then end up in #socials

Absolutely keen to get some of the really great content that gets made put in the spotlight! Just needs some more proactive work on our part to get some of it out there!
