wreck salvaging(diving)

first of all hello to all the comunity, as for my question, im interested in doing some wreck salvaging, ive got a boat, diving suit, rebreather, diving googles and a excavator. i went to some wrecks that appear in the map but everytime i try using the excavator it says im not near a boat when im next to the wreck like 1m away or right on top of it. i dont understad what im doing wrong can someone explain it to me pls? ty for ur time.

I don't really know which wrecks you are going to because as far as I was aware they're disabled for now. When they do get re-enabled you will get a notification on the server with a map marker of a ship wreck. There's ones that drop antiques, and other that drops old gold bars worth 10K each. Please someone correct me if I'm wrong but I didn't think that the wrecks were re-enabled yet.

I haven't seen the boats back in the game yet. But may have changed. @Neo@Ciaran

Boats were available 2 weeks ago and shipwrecks were visible. not active though, I spent some time trying it. Clam collecting is supposed to be good and uses equipment if you dont want it going to waste. Dont get the cheaper boat though, really slow.

Seeing as shipwrecks are asked about at least once a month, any news on ironing out the issues and getting this back on guys?
