I think the lack of updates, and then also rebel lige is empty. Before it was about earning enough money for the big guns. And now that everyone has big guns, its All about just shooting. All for rebel life if you have been here for a while is redzones

Lack of updates yes.
Problem is runs have been paying out fuck all, so no one wants to do them. With no money in people dont want to spend money for some reason. You need a good way to make and plenty of ways to spend. idk the servers not looking too good rn. Hope the devs put out some needed updates soon

In the devs defence, the clown horn is an april fools thing that they do every year, but yes, the updates have been quite slow taking into account the amount of talented devs we have in the arma team, with no reveals or teasers as to what is to come, which instantly in people's minds points to nothing coming... Now this is very likely not the case, however to have a semi large update and then not do anything until people start asking for stuff desperately again seems to be what's happening...
The rebel stash is a good idea on paper, but it just sucks in reality. You get hardly any money from it, it takes ages to break into it and is in a pretty desolate area of the map. However the way you break into it and the general idea is great (totally stole the hacking idea from my casino)
The main issue at this moment in time, is the reluctance by some devs to add things that they deem as OP unfair towards factions, as well as the time it takes to actually decide on things. Let's take the mk200 for example, I'm confident that every person on the server would love to see it added to advanced weapons (not locked behind viper) so that rebels can use it and actually pose a threat to the experienced combat focused units of the factions.
So why hasn't it been done? From what I have been told it is because some of the devs think it is too OP and that adding another gun to the server won't help, this is just untrue, if I got a mk200 I'd play rebel so much more, and it is not OP towards the factions. This exact summary goes for lots of different things, like other weapons, vehicles and abilities for rebels, and rebels are the core of the server.
Unfortunately Poseidon is extremely close in day to day gameplay to rebel life, and so it is viewed by a number of players as just a cheaper, easier version of rebel, they are allowed to use things like mk200's and Zafirs that they find in the SAF drops, where as police members are not, (I don't really have a huge issue with this, it is just to outline their freedom) they can execute, don't have rules restricting things like decamping from helicopters etc etc. This in my opinion is why Poseidon is a much more active faction right now than Police and why we don't have many rebels, because why pay 500k for a MK1 and have to do runs with a couple gang members when they could join a big faction with cheaper gear and better quality of life. I am in no way beating on Poseidon here, i've done that enough in the past and people know my thoughts on how the faction is, I'm just comparing it to rebel life
And nobody wants to join the Police when this lovely big gem of gameplay is available within Poseidon.
So rebel life still needs buffing, after we've asked for it over and over again... Why don't they have access to these good weapons? Why don't they have these quality of life features that other servers have? Why do our runs still pay low amounts of money?
I think a good step forward that is easily achievable is to have a new thread in the forums, similar to the dev public chat on discord, where the devs (Arma and FiveM) can put things they are working on, answer, and ask! the communities questions and opinions about the development of the server, as there is no transparency, we have no clue what's coming in the next update unless I go to a office on teamspeak and specifically ask is there is anything new on the way.

Whilst it may look similar to rebel, in reality it really isn't. Every now and then when I am on at the right time to play Rebel, it is a complete different experience to Poseidon. Whilst we do have more freedom, and are more rebel like than the police, we are not directly comparable to rebel like that.
And as for it being a "Cheaper" version of rebel. Nope. This is wrong on so many levels. I would argue that it costs more to play as Poseidon than it does to play as a rebel. Back when I was doing the redzones as a rebel my bank was constantly going up, whereas now playing as Poseidon (and not going redzones loads either btw) my bank has been on the decrease again.
When it comes to MK200 and Zafirs, it is very rare where permission is granted to just use it willy nilly. You obviously get to use it for the SAF you got it from, but then once that fight is over, it must go into a house, and only gets authorised for certain things (HM/Major crime/we have strong suspicion of an incoming enforcer compound raid). They are still restricted as to when they can be used.
I know you also said about decamping helicopters, which yes we can do. But this is something the police needs to internally discuss and sort out. I spoke to Mystix about a month ago, and he had some solid ideas about changes which could be made to NPAS to make decamping allowed for certain ranks/people, and I also provided him with some of mine. The ideas exist, however just have not been put into place...
