Unfortunatly i dont think an online RP dedicated server is going to be allowed, hopefully one will surface but this Q&A didn't look too good.

"The priority for us is maintaining the integrity of GTA Online and making sure that nothing detracts from that experience. We will be working to protect that environment and making sure nothing has a negative effect on the overall community, but we look forward to seeing and hearing about the experiences PC gamers have once the game is in their hands."

"That was the response from Adam Fowler, Rockstar North's Technical Director, when we probed about mod support for the game. It's an answer that suggests Rockstar might not be clamping down on modders for the offline experience, but will strive to keep Online a hallowed ground."

i think i am been retarded here but are they just not allowing mods to online or are they removeing gta online for pc

Personally i think its due to there micro transactions, When you play online you need to play alot to earn money... or pay alot to buy the money

Its a shame really but the game is still alot of fun.

from what i have been reading the game files are already cracked so expect to be seeing mods soon

No the files have been extracted but that doesn't necessarily mean they are of any use, soon enough you'll see small modifications to the game, custom content through reverse engineering but a system as complex as altislife? Probably not. I understand why Rockstar have done this. It's probably in their best interests but it does suck a bit.

So they basicly used all that time to ensure we don't mod it and get the same experience as on consoles...
They obviously milked it. I mean a lot of people who already have GTA on the consoles went out and bought it for PC too. If they came out at the same time. Most people would have probably gotten the PC version off the bat and not bothered with the consoles. Clever though.

@Wilco

If the mods for GTA 5 allow for more players to be online at a stable connection. Will GTALife.co.uk go live? Cuz you know... GTA roleplayinf and such... Like you did with ARMA 3... Perhaps it becomes such a fun aspect aswell ;)
