Why I am mad at Amazon

Hi all, me here - just having a rant.

Ok, so

my headset broke, and I wanted to buy a new one, so on Wednesday, I ordered a pair of Logitech G930s. I selected free next day delivery (Not the paid guaranteed one), and waited eagerly. As expected, they didn't come. So, I was hoping they would come today. Now, I doubt most of you know, but I live in a gated property, where there is a large gate which you go though to get to the door. I was in all day doing work etc. and had people working in the garden, so I left the gates open so they could come and go. I was still awaiting my delivery. It was around 4PM and it still hadn't come, so I decided to check my Emails to see the status of the delivery. Lo and behold what did I see? "We tried to delivery you're package at 14:57, but we seem to have missed you". WHAT UTTER ********. I WAS IN MY HOUSE ALL DAY LONG WAITING FOR THIS TO ARRIVE, AND THEN THEY DO THIS TO ME :( :(. They said they would retry on Monday, but I wasn't having any of it. I rang up the customer service, and managed to get them to deliver it tomorrow. I asked if they could come back today but they said they have no contact with the drivers, which in my opinion is kinda stupid. 

Anyway, hopefully they should come tomorrow. it's terrible without a good mic - my temporary one doesn't work properly so I can't RP on the servers! xD.

But that's not Amazon's issue, you need to contact the couriers directly.

If you contact them directly and quote the delivery number Amazon will have given you they will have to fix the issue.
Make sure you make it very clear that you were there at the specified time and request the courier contact you via telephone when they arrive next time.

I am unsure of who the couriers are, but thanks for the info - I'll keep it in mind for next time. Thanks :D

Go to the orders page on your Amazon account and you will be able to track the package, there you should find all the information, Amazon delivery number, tracking number and couriers information.

All I can find is that the carrier (not courier) is Amazon Logistics.
