Why does my game crash everytime i try joining server

recently when i try to get on to the server it crashes as i am loading i get to pick a slot just not get on the server and i dont know why and if there is anything i could try please tell me thanks !

This is a problem I've had a lot in the past.
There is a quick fix that I actually had to use yesterday.
Jump into the editor mode and preview it then go back to multiplayer and join, hopefully should be ok.
