Why do you Play ALUK?

Here's a nice easy poll for you guys 

I'm just interested in what really makes you guys keep coming back to ALUK day after day? We are of course a huge community now, and one that's still growing, so what does it for you?

The first poll is for your main reason, the real 'drive' for you coming. The second multi-choice is for any other factors you feel are important. Of course I've missed loads of other potential reasons, and I'd love to hear your own suggestions below. So, hop to it, and let me know why on earth you frequent this place so much!

I came from another server that was pure chaos, roleplay was optional and Kavala Square looks like Syria does now. Too soon?

Probably.

But it's true.

If there's not three cars burning in the Square it's a slow day, and if there isn't mass RDM without a single warning it's just downright disturbing. We had a guy spend a solid hour sniping from the castle over Kavala. I think he killed one person. But that didn't stop him from trying. 

However, here, there's actual roleplay. There's an active community of people dedicated to (as a majority) playing Altis Life as it should be played; as a character telling a story. I enjoy that. 

Also hobos are fun to watch.

My real life, right now is rubbish. To come and talk to people here and to forget about work/money etc is a nice thing. 

Roleplay is there in groups. The majority of the kids are what spoil it. Not really giving a f*$k about anyone or anything.

The main reason i play on ALUK is the community,

When i first arrived here i had never played Altis Life and had zero role play experience, people like yourself Dain, were welcoming and friendly and really made me want to come back. I have made alot of good friends here and without ALUK i would have never met them.

In terms of gameplay, sure, everyone loves shooting and what not but the thing that makes the game for me are the people of the community, without you guys and the admins, it just wouldn't be the same.

If i was to stop playing Altis Life i'd still be a member of the community doing my bit to help and what not where i could.

I could ramble on for ages explaining why i love this server but no one wants to read that early on in the morning.
